Summary
:
ACPS has historically been a leader in sustainability initiatives. This presentation will review current initiatives, planned initiatives, and the annual report from the Advisory Committee for Environmental Sustainability (ACES).
Funding
:
The Energy CLASS grant award will be used to fund Sustainability Liaison stipend positions at each school for FY 24-25. Any recommendations made by the Advisory Committee for Environmental Sustainability that have fiscal implications would be pursued and developed based on direction of the School Board. Any significant redirection of resources would be brought forward through the budget procedures established during the development of the 2025-2026 school budget.
