Summary: We are adding this trade book to a Kindergarten inquiry unit in Social Studies to deepen the content learning related to a unit in the new HMH Into Reading Series in Language Arts. The book will be available for public review at the County Office Building from February 10th - March 10th for public review.
Funding: The book will be provided this year via online text. Will be included in regular trade book purchasing in future years. No immediate funding needed.
Recommendation: Approve the placement of the book for public review with possible full approval at the 3/13 Board Meeting
