Summary:
We are adding this trade book to a Kindergarten inquiry unit in Social Studies to deepen the content learning related to a unit in the new HMH Into Reading Series in Language Arts. The book will be available for public review at the County Office Building from February 10th - March 10th for public review.  
Funding:
The book will be provided this year via online text. Will be included in regular trade book purchasing in future years. No immediate funding needed.  
Recommendation
Approve the placement of the book for public review with possible full approval at the 3/13 Board Meeting
