Summary: Please find attached a summary of all cash donations, miscellaneous revenue and property donated to the Albemarle County Public Schools through the third quarter of 2019-20 fiscal year. The back-up is also provided for all donations, miscellaneous revenue, and property received.

On July 11, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved a streamlined appropriation process for anticipated School Fund revenue associated with miscellaneous grants, donations, and School Activity Funds. Funds will not be expended until the revenues are actually received.
Funding: For the third quarter of the fiscal year, $148,883.37 has been accepted in donations and miscellaneous revenues with $148,733.37 accepted by the School Fund and $150.00 accepted by the Special Revenue Funds.

Of the $522,202.00 that was appropriated for donations and miscellaneous revenue in the School Fund, a total of $325,375.49 has been accepted for the fiscal year.

On March 4, 2020, the Board of Supervisors appropriated an additional $150,000.00 for donations and miscellaneous appropriations. Funds will not be expended until the revenues are actually received.
Recommendation: Please accept all donations, property donations and miscellaneous revenue as property of the Albemarle County Public Schools.
