Summary:
|
The summer of 2017 was the first year of the three year agreement between the CFA Institute and the School Board for the summer rental of Monticello High School. In accordance with the 2017 Lease Agreement, the rental fee calculation is based on the Consumer Price Index. The 2018 rental amount is $519,283.00, which is a 3% increase over the 2017 rental amount and includes $3,500 in additional custodial contracting costs resulting from the change in program dates. The 2018 rental period is July 2 through July 31. All other terms and conditions of the rental agreement remain in effect.

Funding:

The revenue from this arrangement, after expenses, will be included in the School Division's revenue stream for 2018.

Recommendation:
|
Approve the 2018 Rent Adjustment Addendum for the Lease Agreement for the 2018 rental of Monticello High School to the CFA Institute as outlined above, and authorize the School Board Chairman to sign the 2018 Rent Adjustment Addendum.
